Escritorio Estacio, S.C., is one of the most prestigious and oldest attorney firms in Venezuela.

Founded initially as “Lovera & Estacio” in October of 1943 by Virgilio Lovera and Jesús María Estacio, the latter being the late father of our current President and Managing Partner, Omar J. Estacio and our General Manager, Economist Tibisay Estacio, and late grandfather to our current Director, Gabriel Arroyo Estacio and our Marketing Director, Belén Estacio.

Our team specializes in defense cases at a national level, as well as in international organisms, in the areas of human rights, political crimes and freedom of expression processes, standing out among some of our defendants are senior officials of the Republic of Venezuela, heads of international organizations, journalists, publishers and companies owning newspapers and publications.

Our headquarters are in Caracas, Venezuela, and in 2010 we opened a branch in Coral Gables, Florida in the United States, mainly to cater to the large population of Venezuelans who live there.
